WHAT IS HEALTH AND WELLNESS COACHING?

Health and wellness coaching is a safe place for individuals to explore their most valuable potentials.  Over the course of several coaching sessions, the coach will collaborate with the client to identify the problem, explore the root cause of the issue, identify factors that may affect their success and arrive at a viable solution.  A clear partnership with the client will be established when designing a plan of action to achieve well-defined goals.  Similar to a sports coach, a health and wellness coach will partner with an individual to help them excel at living their best life.

Recent studies are showing health and wellness coaching to be effective for those managing a variety of health conditions.  Coaching is shown to improve health-related quality of life and reduced hospital admissions in patients with COPD.
